The Weeknd says he has abandoned plans to retire from music and will also keep his longtime stage name.
In a new interview with GQ Hong Kong, the singer said experiencing what retirement could look like convinced him it was not for him.
The Canadian star, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, had previously suggested he wanted to move away from The Weeknd name and enter a new phase of his career.
He now says he feels a renewed sense of inspiration and gratitude and intends to continue making music for as long as possible.
