Sia has reportedly agreed to sell a 50 percent stake in her music catalogue in a deal valued at $180 million.
According to TMZ, investment company Pophouse will acquire the stake, with $165 million of the deal going directly to the Australian singer.
The remaining $15 million, connected to songs written during Sia’s marriage to Dan Bernad, will reportedly be placed in escrow while the former couple determines how it will be divided.
The deal adds Sia to a growing list of major artistes who have sold all or part of their music rights in multimillion-dollar agreements.
