Thomas Markle, the 82-year-old father of Meghan Markle, has reportedly been arrested by federal agents in Florida on charges involving child sexual abuse material.
The arrest on Friday follows an international investigation involving properties in the Philippines and Mexico, where authorities allegedly discovered illegal material and electronic devices.
Markle was reportedly staying at a Florida care facility when he was taken into custody.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing, with further examination of the seized evidence expected.
