American rapper Rick Ross has had a felony battery charge dropped in connection with a domestic violence case in Miami.
Prosecutors dismissed the felony battery and strangulation allegation on Friday, citing insufficient evidence.
However, the rapper, whose real name is William Roberts II, still faces two misdemeanour charges, including battery and domestic battery.
The charges stem from allegations made by his former girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick, following an alleged altercation in August.
Ross has pleaded not guilty to all charges, maintaining his innocence and describing the allegations as fabricated.
