The Recording Academy has welcomed more than 2,300 new voting members ahead of the upcoming Grammy Awards season, bringing its total voting membership to nearly 16,000 music professionals.

The Academy says its 2026 intake reflects greater diversity, with 53 percent identifying as people of colour, 54 percent aged 39 and under, and 33 percent identifying as women.

The new members include artistes, songwriters, producers and sound engineers who will help determine future Grammy nominees and winners.
