Jay-Z’s former accuser has formally withdrawn allegations that the rapper sexually assaulted her, saying she had never met him.
The woman, previously identified only as Jane Doe, said in a court declaration that her allegations against Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, were false and apologised to him and his family.
The original lawsuit, which accused Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexually assaulting her when she was 13, was voluntarily dismissed in February 2025.
Jay-Z has consistently denied the allegations and is continuing separate legal action against the woman’s former attorney, Tony Buzbee, and his law firm.
