Dancehall legend Super Cat's classic album Boops! is set for a digital reissue on November 20 through VP Records, celebrating an important chapter in the artiste's rise to international fame.
The album features the iconic hit Boops, which popularised the Jamaican slang term for a sugar daddy and became a major dancehall anthem.
Music executives say the song originated on the Stereo Mars sound system before being recorded by producer Winston Riley, with its success helping inspire the launch of Skengdon Records.
The reissue forms part of a wider project celebrating the Skengdon legacy, with a special anthology planned for early 2027.
