The Final Boss breaks a new record.

The Guinness World Records announced that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 51, had become the most followed actor on TikTok on Wednesday (April 17). To claim the top spot, the most electrifying man in entertainment lays the smackdown on the former title holder, Will Smith, 55, who had held the title since 2022. 

Over 74 million people follow The Rock on TikTok. This month’s Wrestlemania 40 had the highest-grossing and the highest-selling main event in Wrestlemania history, which can be attributed to the action star’s return to wrestling. 

Johnson has set many records over the years, including the largest layered dip, which weighed 540 lb, and the most selfies taken in three minutes, which was 105.

The decline in Will Smith’s following could lead to him infamously slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars in 2022. Smith and J Balvin performed the iconic dance sequence to Smith’s hit song “Men In Black” during Coachella, marking Smith’s first performance in years.
